Phuong Thao Nguyen, DDS, MSD Board Certified Periodontist
Dr. Nguyen grew up in Saigon, Vietnam, and she is fluent in English and Vietnamese. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from University of Houston and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Baylor College of Dentistry. After dental school, she pursued a 3-year postdoctoral residency in the field of Periodontics and Implantology at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, where she earned a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) and a Specialty Certificate in Periodontics. She served as Chief Resident during residency, and her research project has won several awards. Dr. Nguyen is also Board Certified.
